Dear Friends and Supporters:

Thank you for your faithful prayers and financial support.   We will soon be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.  Many of you have prayed for us and supported us that entire time or longer.  It is our privilege to serve the Lord on your behalf in Honduras.

We recently had our celebration of Student’s Day with teens of four different churches.  We had games led by our son Halbert, singing, Bible preaching by two Honduran pastors, and the ladies of our church prepared lunch for them.  A good group attended and they had a great time.  We have these meetings to encourage them in the decisions they made at Youth Camp and to give them the opportunity to have fellowship with other Christians.

Please pray for our annual men’s conference September 6th and 7th.  Once again my Dad, Missionary Harold Priday will be the speaker.  Our theme will be Visionary Leaders.  We will have it overnight this time at the same place where the teens have camp.  This will give them the opportunity to get away from the noise of the rat race and to be more focused on the conference.  We are expecting men from at least seven churches.  One of the greatest needs here is for men to be leaders in their homes and churches.

In the mission work in Barrio Abajo we continue studying the book of Revelation on Sunday nights.  The youth are studying the Sermon on the Mount on Saturdays, Practical Christian Service, and in Sunday School we are finishing a study on Lifestyle Stewardship.  There is much sickness this time of the year, including near epidemic proportions of the dengue fever.  It comes from the bite of a certain type of mosquitoes.  So please pray for our health and the health of the people here.

May 22nd, one of my Mother’s sisters, Carol Frances Clark died and went home to be with the Lord.  I was honored to do the funeral and was in the States 2 weeks.  It was good to see most of my family.  Please pray for all of the family as she is greatly missed.  Please pray for the health of another of my Mom’s sisters, Virginia Cansler.  Right now we are enjoying a two week visit of our son Steve who lives Fort Worth, Texas.   Thank you for your prayers and may the Lord bless you greatly.

Yours with Hope For Honduras,

Leslie and Alba Priday
