Dear Pastor,

As you well know, the coming of our Lord is “at the door” and we are running out of time to do the great work of missions. Honduras is a wide-open field and people are receptive to the Gospel. Leslie and Alba Priday and their two sons are working hard and seeing fruit to the glory of God.

I am writing in hopes that you might prayerfully consider having a part in this work. Their DVD presentation is among the best a and will challenge your people for missions. Leslie is faithful, trustworthy and hard-working. I have been his pastor for 15 years and have visited them on the field on severaol ccasions.

Leslie is also a good communicator and understands the importance of staying “connected” to his supporting churches. I have pastored for over 33 years and know the difficulty in making decisions regarding missionaries and support, The Leslie Priday family are worthy of any
consideration you might give them.

If you need any further information, PLEASE do not hesitate to call me at 817-594-7421 at any time.

God bless you as you lead your church forward in this great work of reaching the world with the Gospel.

Respectfully and Sincerely Yours,

Dr. Charles W. Wetherbee
Pastor

Dear Prayer Partners:

We praise the Lord for His wonderful blessings last year. We trust that each of you had a wonderful Christmas and are receiving many blessings from the Lord as we begin a New Year. We missed Steve this Christmas season, but it is nice to be back in our home and with our family and friends here. This year we had tamales, firecrackers, and a bonfire for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve and special dinners Christmas Day and new Years Day here in Honduras. We began 2008 with our son Steve and friends from Indiana who visited us in Texas taking a short break from traveling. In January, we visited my aunt in Yuma, Arizona and visited churches in Arizona and New Mexico. We stayed in Texas most of February and then went to Florida. We were in churches in Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Kansas in March. In April, you could have found us just about anywhere in Texas, from West Texas to South Texas and everywhere in between! It was back to west Texas to El Paso, to Houston, San Antonio, and the Dallas/Fort Worth area in May! In June we were in churches in Texas, Arizona, the Navajo Reservation, and visited an aunt in Colorado on our way to say good bye to our family in Oregon. We had a great time with our family, but it is always sad to say good bye. In July we returned to Texas to finish our preparations to return home to Honduras. We were in about 91 churches on furlough in seventeen States. It was exciting in August to come back here, but at the same time hard to say good bye to Steve again. Alba and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in August. We praise the Lord for all of His blessings during these years. The first month here found us very busy cleaning, unpacking, trying to get our things out of customs, etc.

The mission in Barrio Abajo held its Mission Conference in December. The guest speaker was fellow missionary Oscar Pineda of Trinity Baptist Church, Arlington, Texas, Pastor Dr. Bob Smith. Several have been saved as a result of the Mission Conference and increased door to door visitation. It was a difficult Christmas season for them as a 13 year old boy who was faithful and active in the church was murdered and the next week, an 86 year old lady in the church went to Heaven. We had the first service last week in a new area called Barrio Las Flores. Praise the Lord that one man rededicated his life to the Lord. The service was in a home and 15 were present. Please pray for this new ministry.

Please be in special prayer for our first WOMEN’S CONFERENCE February 19-21 with Mrs. Martha Johnson of Care Crisis Ministry of our home church. She also does counseling for other churches in the Dallas –Fort Worth area. If you would like to help our conference financially, please call her at 817-594-2870.

Steve continues to live and work in Fort Worth, Texas. Halbert and Edgar stay busy with their school work. Edgar is in 10th grade and this is Halbert’s senior year. Both are receiving guitar lessons again and Halbert piano lessons, also. They have been enjoying seeing all their friends again. Both are active in our ministries. Alba is doing fine and stays busy helping the ladies in the
church, Sunday School, and trying to keep us boys straight! Leslie is also taking guitar lessons.

We are thankful for you and for all of our family and friends. We trust you will have a blessed New Year of 2009 serving the Lord in His Work. Thank you for your prayers, emails, cards and support.

Yours with Hope For Honduras,

The Leslie Pridays

Dear Family and Friends,
What an exciting time of the year as we observe the birth of our dear Saviour! No matter what aspect of Jesus Christ on which we meditate, He is the Wonder of wonders. We trust that this Wonderful Message will impact your lives in a new way this Christmas season.

We praise the Lord for His wonderful blessings this year. Last Thanksgiving and Christmas we spent in the
Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area with our oldest son Steve and our home church. We are missing him this Christmas
season but, it is nice to be back in our home and with our family and friends here. This year we will have tamales,
firecrackers and, a bonfire for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve and special dinners Christmas Day and New Years
Day here in Honduras.

we were there. We stayed in Texas most of February and then went to Florida. We were in churches in Florida,

say goodbye to Steve again. Alba and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in August. We praise the Lord for
all of His blessings during these years. The first month here found us very busy cleaning, unpacking, trying to get our
things out of customs, etc. We have been helping Pastor Edwin in the work in Barrio Abajo and visiting a couple of
areas in which we are praying about starting a new church.

Steve is living and working hard in Fort Woth, Texas for a company called TTI. Hatbert and Edgar stay busy with
