Dear Pastor and Church:
We praise the Lord for the prayers and financial support of each of you! Thank you! God has truly watched over us as we have traveled and He has blessed us in each church we have visited. We thank Him for the new churches that have begun to support us, for the supporting churches who have increased our support, and especially for the decisions made for the Lord in almost every service in which we have presented our ministry.
Since we last wrote in January, we have been in churches in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, and North Carolina. We were in a small accident in Florida. As we drove down the freeway at night time and in the rain, a semi truck pulled in front of us and hit his brakes. We slowed down and praise the Lord did not hit him, but another car hit us from behind. We are thankful that no one was hurt and there was only light damage on our car. The next day, a piece of rubber flipped up and damaged a fuel line causing the car to die. Praise the Lord that the wrecker arrived quickly and took us to a place that was able to fix it fast so we could continue on our trip to the next church with only about 2 hours of delay. You see, your prayers for us as we travel ARE important!
The mission church in Honduras recently held Vacation Bible School. They also held the annual prayer week. In February, they had a revival with a national pastor from another area. They are excited to report that souls were saved both in the VBS and in the revival.
We only have four and a half more months of furlough. Praise the Lord we are almost solidly booked up! We are tired of the traveling and suitcases. Halbert has been battling a cold. Please continue to pray for us in our upcoming trips. We are beginning to plan for our shipping and need to pay for our return tickets to Honduras. We will return the end of July. We are very anxious to get back HOME.
Please continue to pray with us about our need of additional support, support for the Bible institute, and the needs for which we need to raise funds. Also, please pray for our ministry when we return as we will be starting a new work, holding vacation Bible schools, and youth camp. A lady from Oregon is going down in September to work with us for three months.
We thank you for your faithfulness and the part that each of you have in our ministry in Honduras.
May the Lord bless you greatly.
Yours with Hope For Honduras,
THE LESLIE PRIDAY FAMILY
