Greetings from hot, dry, smoky, and dusty Honduras. The beautiful vegetation has turned brown and many are suffering from sinus problems due to the dust and smoke from forest fires.

We praise the Lord for the spiritual growth we are seeing in the people. A couple for whom we have been praying and teaching for three and a half years finally got married. They had been living together. We are very excited that they took this step of commitment to each other and obedience to the Lord! A single mother and her daughter were baptized. That was about the coldest water I’ve ever baptized in! Praise the Lord for their obedience! They and three other ladies are receiving a discipleship course taught by one of the Sunday School teachers. We thank the Lord for two teenage boys who were saved!

Please pray for Alba’s mother. Another one of her sisters passed away in February. Loosing two sisters so close together has been hard for her. Also, please pray for my mother who has been in poor health. Pastor Edwin and his wife recently had a baby and all went well, praise the Lord. But please pray for them, she has been having some health problems and he lost his job as a school teacher because of a stand he took.

February 12^th was an exciting day! We restarted our Bible institute under the direction of my father, Rev. Harold Priday. We have seven students, including two student teachers, Pastor Polo and Pastor Edwin. My Dad and I are also teaching. We have 3 classes, 3 nights a week, and five different subjects. But wait, there is one more exciting note: Our nearly 16 year old son HALBERT is also teaching! He volunteered to teach music classes!! Talk about a proud father watching him give his first class!!! One of the students said to me, “This is a really serious class!” He is doing a good job.

My parents have sacrificed a lot to get the building ready. But they need more help on the building, buying books, furniture, etc. If you could send a special offering for the Bible institute or support it on a monthly basis, please send your support designated to the BAPTIST TRAINING CENTER of C.A., in care of the IBFI Mission Agency. You will be investing in several future ministries at once and planting countless seeds to be reaped eternally.
